Schools that were active users of ALEKS performed better on Algebra I and Algebra II EOC math assessments than schools that were not ALEKS users. These results were even stronger across disadvantaged student subgroups in the impact on the percentage of ʯÁñÊÓƵ»ÆÉ«°æ performing at the lowest proficiency level.

Out of all Pasco County School DistrictʯÁñÊÓƵ»ÆÉ«°æ™s Title 1 schools, Raymond B. Stewart Middle School math ʯÁñÊÓƵ»ÆÉ«°æ had the highest learning gains for the lowest 25% of ʯÁñÊÓƵ»ÆÉ«°æ on the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) for Math.

Results showed that about seven in ten ALEKS users achieved mathematical growth on NWEA MAP tests in Harmony Public Schools and that ʯÁñÊÓƵ»ÆÉ«°æ who spent more time in ALEKS were more likely to achieve NWEA MAP math growth.

During the 2016/17 school year, RCMA Charter Schools were one of only 12 Florida schools that had third graders score 100% proficient in math on their state exams.

This study showed a positive correlation between time spent in ALEKS and post-mastery scores in Olentangy Local School District. Teacher usage within this study further suggests that <em>ALEKS</em> does not need to be assigned as homework for ʯÁñÊÓƵ»ÆÉ«°æ to use it successfully.

"Since we're no longer meeting face-to-face, we asked that ʯÁñÊÓƵ»ÆÉ«°æ spend at least 3 hours working in ALEKS between Monday and Friday each week. We changed our Monday quizzes (typically paper & pencil) to ALEKS quizzes, but ʯÁñÊÓƵ»ÆÉ«°æ were comfortable with that as we had a couple of ALEKS quizzes before the transition. We have them upload their work to Canvas after. This was by far my easiest class to transition to virtual learning. I just added some online lectures and incorporated the use of Respondus for testing."
